Cornerstone Concrete Co. began with a conversation — and a calling.
While passing through Memphis on his way to his sister’s graduation in Starkville, Luke made time for a late-night visit with longtime friend Peter Shadrach. What started as a simple catch-up turned into a meaningful discussion about family, faith, and the idea of building something lasting — not just in business, but in life.
They talked about what it would look like for the Reilly family to return to Memphis. What it might mean to work with their hands. To serve their community. To create a company grounded in integrity, craftsmanship, and a shared sense of purpose.
By the end of the night, a vision had taken shape. And not long after, Cornerstone Concrete Co. was born.
Rooted in friendship and guided by faith, our company takes its name from Jesus Christ, the Cornerstone — the foundation on which we strive to build everything we do.
